Investment
The district development is possible thanks to the European Union funds. The District gains its funds mainly from Regional Operational Programme for Podkarpackie Voivodeship 2007-2013 and benefits from the means of Operational Programme – Development of Eastern Poland which includes Voivodeship: Podkarpackie, Świętokrzyskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Podlaskie and Lubelskie.
Investments made in the area of district are aimed at enhancing competitiveness, growth of attractiveness and raising the region’s position as a place of economic activity. All the above mentioned element are the foundation of economic prosperity and standard of living of inhabitants in the district.
Priority areas for development:
- infrastructure,
- labour market,
- agriculture.
Sources identifying the need for the project:
- socio-economic expectations disclosed as a result of social interpellation,
- analysis of the quality and availability of the infrastructure and the need of its improvement set by the local government,
- targeting the district development strategy as a direct beneficiary and indirect beneficiaries of the district.
The sources of investment project identification, in the area of Laszki district are based on information collected from available documentation and analysis of the problems presented by the involvement of the social movement in the district development activities. The basis for determining the problems and their solutions are the opinions of the socio-economic expectations reported to the local authorities. The issues raised by the public opinion is consistent with the objectives of the whole district development strategy.
The long-term investment objective is to prevent ongoing social and economic marginalization of areas of investment projects. Realization of projects in the district is intended directly to increase attractiveness for restructured areas investors and directly contribute to the creation of favourable environment for the development of micro and macro businesses. Project implementation has significant effects on mobilizing and integrating the local communities.
A consistent, well developed technical and road infrastructure, accessibility of main facilities of economic activity and attractive tourist sites are the basis for the economic development in the region.;
Investments in efficient and consistent system of road communication routes and technical infrastructure in the areas relevant to the development of the region, adjusting the parameters of objects to EU requirements makes not only the investment area, but also the whole Podkarpackie Voivodeship much more accessible and welcoming for the invertors, tourists and inhabitants. Planned investments are the part of the local government strategy, which is aimed to improve the living conditions in the region.
